SCEFL Premier Division

Saturday 26th October

After a run of three cup games in a row Becks returned to league action with a visit to a Canterbury side that were unbeaten in their last nine league games coming into this one and looking to make a statement by getting a win against the side at the top of the table.

Harvey Brand opened the scoring just six minutes in to give us an early lead. There was a long spell where neither side could get the ball past the goalkeepers but thankfully for us Shameek Farrell put Becks into a much better position with his 72nd minute goal. The scoreline remained 2-0 when the final whistle blew and Becks had another three points in the bag.

The result keeps Becks flying high at the top of the table five points clear of Chatham Town in second who also won to keep the pressure firmly on.
