BECKENHAM TOWN 4-2 BEARSTED

SCEFL Premier Division

Saturday 28th September

With Bearsted the visitors, Eden Park Avenue anticipated plenty of goals and the fans in attendance were not disappointed, witnessing a six goal frenzy.

Becks started the livelier and flew into a commanding three-goal first-half lead with tricky forward Damien Ramsamy, barnstorming right back Harvey Brand and club captain Ashley Carew (returning from injury) all netting inside the first 35 minutes. The valuable three points already looked secure.

However, Bears’ danger man Emmanuel Oluwasemu pulled one back before the break before Lucien Scarlat then made it 3-2 early in the second half. With nerves starting to creep in, it was Shameek Farrell who finally sealed the win, wrapping things up with a goal ten minutes from time as Becks ran out 4-2 winners.

The result means that Becks keep pace with Chatham Town at the top who beat Erith Town away from home.
