Well another new season is upon us even though I am still in Cricket mode at present.

After the disappointing end to last season the club will be hoping that this is the one that we finally manage to get promoted to the Isthmian league.

Jason and Billy have done a fantastic job on recruitment so fingers crossed that the early season friendly results will now transform into league points in what should be a very competitive league this season (As it always is).

Off the pitch the long term aim for the club has to be an improvement in facilities and eventually a new clubhouse this has to be linked to a secure long term lease with Bromley Council and maybe an all weather pitch. I am strongly against our main pitch becoming all weather grass for me even though I suffer from chronic grass allergy hay fever, four months of the year LOL😊

At present I am at home in Spain but will be back and forth on a regular basis after the school holidays. The first thing that will be implemented as soon as I am back in September is the abolition of ALL disposable plastic at the club. Drinks will be served in re-useable plastic, players will also be served their after match food on real plates with proper cutlery and this will also apply to everything served from the wonderful Yvonne who makes the best burgers not just in non league football but anywhere😊

That it from me, looking forward to a great season and I will try to make as many matches as possible along with my boys Georgy and Luka, my daughter Anastasia and off course our dog AMO who is desperate to get his jaws into some footballs. (“THAT COST £100 QUID!” Peter Palmer)
