Top scorer in the short-lived 2020/21 season and then – after holding off a late charge from King Louie and outlasting Stevie T – leading scorer in 2021/22, Tunde Aderonmu has opted to stay at Step 5 with a move to SCEFL Premier club Erith & Belvedere. On Twitter the big striker announced…

“After two years at Beckenham, I’ve decided to have a new challenge. I wish them all the best going forward but it’s now time to score goals for Erith & Belvedere.”

The Deres announced the move “A proven forward at this level who will add to our talented squad, a league winner for Beckenham Town last year finishing with 25 goals.”

Becks would like to wish the 35-year old all the best for the future and look forward to seeing him swing by Eden Park Avenue to say ‘Hello’ when he gets the chance. Thanks for all the goals and celebrations Tundz. The opener in the title decider was special. As were the calm, considered words you penned the day before that game after a challenging three days for all at the club. You will be missed. Good luck!

Forever the Top Scorer for the 21/22 League Champions Beckenham Town
